Advanced Business Systems offers, though isn't limited to, Mailing Machines, folders, Inserters, document management software, secure email "Push", envelope openers, addressing systems, forms handling equipment, CASS and PAVE certified mailing list software, shipping systems, tabbers, postal scales, mailroom furniture, strappers, and mailing supplies, services, and repairs.
Advanced Business Systems was started in La Crosse, Wisconsin, in 1982, in response to a need for a local dealer of mailing solutions, thought the knowledge of all machines spans years before that. Former owners Ron Schmal and Steve Lathrop, both of whom are retired, built a company on the belief of staying local and working with the customer to provide the best products and services. That belief is still held in place, offering to you the best possible care. We have grown to start to help people in parts of Iowa, Illinois, Minnesota, and Wisconsin. Thanks to that, we are members of the Clinton, IA, Dubuque, IA, Waterloo, IA, La Crosse, WI, Tomah, WI, and Rochester, MN chambers of commerce. As of January, 2016, Advanced Business Systems became a 100% female owned business. The owner, Anne Schmal, began working for Advanced Business systems in 2007 part time, and began working full time in 2010.

As the world and the mailing industry is changing rapidly, so is Advanced Business Systems to provide clients solutions to their mailing needs.
